Analysis: Why ECsino=Skype+Cisco
PS: Cisco herein refers to Cisco Corporation Communication Solution only
As everybody knows, Skype is the most popular IM (or VoIP) recently, Cisco is one of the most stronggest Cisco (CSCO) is the leading supplier of networking equipment & network management for the Internet.
But both of them have drawbacks:

Skype:
1. has enterprise communication solutions, but Skype itself ID is consisted of letters, or letters mixed numbers, so it is nearly impossible to be used as Switchboard, another word, it cannot be used as softswitch, which is a big advantage to Cisco and ECsino;

2. When somebody calling a Skype ID, the inbound calling could be transferred to another Skype ID that the user setup already, but couldn’t be FORWARDED to another ID that the user haven’t setup, which Cisco can do, ECsino can do also(you can transfer & forward a calling to another ECsino ID or a normal phone or mobile);
3. Teleconference: Skype, ten participants at most,
ECsino, no limit, support normal phones and mobiles, Recording the audio conferencing event
4. Emergency calls like 911: Skype: no
Cisco: yes
ECsino: yes
5. Shortcut: Skype: no
ECsino: yes, so when used in Corporation solution, every ECsino ID could be used as a extension number, such as 801, 802…, so when you want to transfer & forward a calling to 803, just press the button on our phone: *803#, the call will be forwarded & transferred, which Skype cannot.

At last, I don’t think Skype has a promising future like Cisco who just providing solution for enterprise, because Skype profit is based on Credit Selling, means, routes, but like a usual user does, why I should pay if can make free calls just from PC2PC? If I don’t call PSTN, how to make money to Skype compay? The Skype has to settle this problem in the near future.



Analysis: Why ECsino=Skype+Cisco, 3rd half
Cisco:
Cisco (CSCO) is the leading supplier of networking equipment & network management for the Internet.
Cisco nearly has a perfect solution for Corporations, but the problem is: too expensive that maybe suitable for developed countries or big Corporations. Large investment in establishment and maintenances, not like Skype, just download from Internet, and use by a earphone and microphone.

Another serious problem: it is an isolated system
Opposite to Skype, Cisco is not running on Internet, but Intranet, I mean, internal network of a Corporation, but the connection between different Corporations, outside customers cannot make free calls to the enterprise that used Cisco System.

Analysis: Why ECsino=Skype+Cisco, 4th half
Together the drawbacks and advantages of Skype and Cisco, I can’t say I am so confident about my viewpoint, because I just post these points from a role of a user. But now, I am running a VoIP project myself, brand new, ECsino, I am so confident about its advantage:

1 suitable for individuals coz’ it is running on internet;
2 perfect for corporation, cheap, multi-functional, easy to use…
3 transfer & forward, teleconference, recording…

I am sure you will have many questions even think it scorn to, I can understand how the people might think when a new thing appeared, but hope you can understand it firstly, and then any question is welcomed.
